Stephen P. Morse -- and the 8086 Book

Stephen P. More is the Grand Daddy of the processor running your PC. He was the lead designer of the 8086. He also authored a short and sweet book titled, "The 8086/8088 Primer", which I liked very much as a student, way back. It turns out that Mr. Morse has decided to make the book available online here on his website.

Its a wonderful read. Thank you Mr. Morse!

are all microprocessors PI-PIV based on 8086 architecture? what about the processors that AMD manufactures?
Was hyperthreading (a new feature incorporated in today's processors) a part of the original 8086 architecture design?
