Dhananjay V. Gadre completed his MSc(Electronic Science) from University of Delhi and M.Engr(Computer Engineering) from University of Idaho, USA. In his professional career of more than 20 years, he has taught at the SGTB Khalsa College, University of Delhi, worked as a Scientific Officer at the Inter-University Centre for Astronomy and Astrophysics, Pune and since 2001, he is an Assistant Professor with the Electronics and Communication Engineering Division, Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology, New Delhi. He is also a visiting associate of IUCAA. Dhananjay is the author of several professional articles and two books, which have also been translated in Chinese and Greek. His professional interests include computer architecture, digital systems design, embedded systems, asynchronous digital systems and sensor networks. As part of teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students in engineering, he strives to inculcate a culture of entrepreneurship amongst his students and he has mentored two startups dealing in electronics hardware design.
